Wanting a New Monitor

Hey Guys,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

My current build is below
https://gyazo.com/1af0198d18f726e0ff28d463483f2828

My current monitors are the BenQ GL2250H which is connected with HDMI, I also have the Asus VG248QE which is connected through DVI.

I'm looking for another monitor, nothing special really but I'm having trouble finding one especially since I've been told I need it to have a DP connection because of my graphics card.

If someone can help me, if possible I would like it to be 24inch or lower and be able to mount on the monitor arms.

And if someone can tell me what I should upgrade on my current system, I have a seperate £550 for the system it's self and a budget of £150 for the monitor, although any saving for the monitor would be put into the system.

Anyway, thanks for your time guys and gals.

That's not necessarily true, there are adapter cables. For instance my GPU has 1 DVI, 1 HDMI, and 3 DP. I'm using 2 HDMI monitors, one with an HDMI cable and one with a DP to HDMI adapter.

The AOC i2369vm is a decent 23" IPS panel. Might be nice to have the choice of your 144hz TN monitor and a 60hz IPS panel. :) It also has DP input and vesa 75mm mounting points iirc. I think PCS do it for £124.

As for the rest of the system, what do you want to upgrade it for? Games? Anything else?

If you're gaming on a single monitor at 1080p, a GTX 1060 or GTX 1070 (which there's a case for due to the high refresh your monitor can support, even though it's arguably a bit overkill for 1080p) would be decent upgrades. I'm not sure the returns you'd get for upgrading the CPU + mobo + RAM (+OS if it's an OEM licence) would really justify themselves. And maybe treat yourself to a 250gb Samsung 850 Evo for faster OS and game loading times.
