Has anyone encountered this message?
"something is trying to trick firefox to install insecure update,please contact your ISP"

Never seen it no, and been using FF for years...hmmm...odd one that. Has Google offered up any suggestions as to what might be the cause?

I havent looked into it yet,just seen it this morning & just thought I'd ask on here first.

I think I've had that before.

Cleared out my cookies etc., closed FF, ran full virus and malware scans as well as CCleaner.
Didn't find anything, but better safe than sorry.

Good advice TudorVII,I do all those things regularly,whatever it is firefox seems to be blocking it,
but no harm in trying what you suggest right now.
If nothing is found & it pops up again,I'll contact my ISP as suggested by firefox,though I'm not quite sure what it's got to do with them.

i was getting that at one point, i scanned and everything and found nothing, my hard drive ended up breaking so i dont need to worry now with linux
