Warranty Transfer

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask but I couldn't see a more appropriate forum and a search didn't turn anything useful up, but I am in the process of selling my laptop (my work provide me with a new lappy) and I was wondering whether the remaining warranty period is transferable at all? I bought my laptop late January this year, if that helps.

I believe it is possible however I am not sure on the conditions. Best thing to do is to call/email PCS for further details.

Something in the back of my head is telling me this has been asked before and it went along the lines of the warranty being attached to you + the laptop and not just the laptop.

As ruben says, only way to know for sure is to contact PCS (unless an admin happens to pop in here at some point )

I emailed PCS regarding that a few weeks ago, it is possible but not sure what the conditions are.

I spoke to their live support earlier, apparently it is possible, while it will always be sort of attached to me because I made the order, they can note who the laptop has been sold to and make a note on the system, any warranty claims from that person within the warranty period would be honored.

I'll update this with the exact process and required information once I have done this, I am sure others might be interested
