What do you think of this COSMOS configuration?

I posted earlier - I was too hasty as am only now honing in on what I think I would like. My requirements are for a multi-purpose work PC with the occasional bit of (mainly old) and/or management sim gaming.

What do you think of the spec?

Is the Intel SSD a good idea? Ideally I would like a SSD for the OS, a standard Hard disk and the DVD drive. Is this a decent WiFi card - I guess it is better future-proofed than the default?

Looks good. The Optimus nebula on the review section costs £849 and has a better gpu but smaller ssd, you could consider that but if gaming is not the priority the cosmos would be fine.

Thanks Keynes - much appreciated. I've heard some SSDs are prone to mulfunctioning - it seems though that the Intel has a reasonable rating, but some people have complained about some Kingston SSDs?

I like the look of the Nebula that is on offer, but unfortunately the offer price is not valid if one configures it - would be nice to have a faster HDD and the better cooling.

It is a laptop that offers a significant discount for what it offers but you lose the discount as soon as you attempt to modify the specs. I would say any ssd would be fine (apart from the V300), you are likely to only notice the difference when running benchmarks
