Hey - what does this "lock/unlock" actually do? I can't tell any difference in how my computer behaves when it's on and when it's off. Thanks for any help!

Where do you see it? How do you turn it on and off? - Its quite difficult to tell what it is from just a small desktop snip.

I'd guess its for the touchpad but that is a total guess - does the touchpad still work if its on/off?

My guess is it’s a lock for the mousepad enable disable gesture on the trackpad itself. In one of the corners you can double tap to enable / disable the trackpad. My guess is the lock will lock that hardware toggle.
