i believe there is 6 on the back directly attached to the motherboard, and then whatever your case has at the front, 2 at the back will probabl be USB 3.0

and the sniper has 4xUSB at the front and i dont think any of those are USB 3.0

Well, I think mine has 4 USB2 ports on the top/front. Not checked the back, but seems 6 going by the info given.

But dont quote me!

yes, most likely 2 at the back and you can buy a 5.25" tray which has all sorts on it including USB 3.0 and about 6 more USB 2.0, i would only buy it for the front USB 3.0

Pass. Im pretty sure the front 4 are USB2, so unless there is a cheeky 3 on the back, it might have been summit to select in the Configurtron :)
