What touchpad software do you use?

Hi,

I want to turn off the touchpad on my Optimus VIII. Can't find software for it anywhere in Win10. What software do you use, where do I find it, and how do I set it to deactivate when a mouse is plugged in?

Have you installed the touchpad driver? If not then you're using the default driver in Windows and that's pretty limited in what it can do. Go to the Clevo download site at http://clevo.com/clevo_down.asp?lang=en and download the touchpad driver from there. You'll need your Clevo model number, it's on a sticker on the bottom.

On my Optimus IV the proper driver allows me to disable the touchpad when an external mouse is plugged in.

You should have received "central manager software" where you are able to control fan speed, brightness, touchpad on/off etc. Im also an optimus 8 owner so that's why i know this software exist. I got the software from the Pcspecialist guys.
