Which Processor Is Better?

I have just sold some **** and about to buy my pc. i have come to what i want but the processor :/ the two builds are the same part from the pro. Which is better a AMD Bulldozer QUAD CORE FX-100 or a AMD Phenom II 6x 1055t. One has more cores but the other has more GHZ.

also should i drop the 8gb to 4gb and get a 6770. i can easily uprgrade the ram later but gpu is alot harder :)

I think it looks pretty good as it is mate, although I cant comment on minecraft, as i've never played it.

But like you say you could go for a 6770 and 4 gb ram, i 'd go for that option. But try and get one 4gb stick not two 2gb sticks.

4 GB RAM will be more than enough for what you want to do,
so good idea to put it towards getting a better GPU,
assuming you wont have to upgrade the PSU.
As for the CPU I wouldn't change it.
If you post your budget maybe someone could advise on any changes for improvement.
looks good to me.

its £600 little flexible but i have got what i want just dont know which cpu is better to get :/ i am going for a bulldozer i think

sorry mate,

the 6core would be better for the photo editing and other editing you do. but the quad core is faster so would be better gaming, as games don't use 6 cores but only 4 cores (most up to date games ie bf3) hmmm its a tough one as the quad is faster than the 6core hmmmmm.

ill do a bit of research n see what I can find.
