Which quieter: Standard Intel Cooler or Super Quiet Cooler?

Hi,

Could you advise me on which cooler to select for the new Sandy Bridge processor (no overclocking planned and the system will be used for Photoshop and programming).

I'm after the quieter solution. Should I go for the 'Standard Intel Cooler' or for the 'Super Quiet 22dBA Triple Copper Heatpipe' cooler? I can't select the Titan Fenrir as it is not compatible with the Asus P8P67 Pro and I don't want to go for the liquid cooling.

Also, is this the 'Standard Intel Cooler' that the Pc Specialist are offering (Intel model: XTS100H) with the Sandy Bridge i7 2600k processor?

The Super Quiet Cooler is both quieter and better at cooling so I'd advise you to go for that cooler. The Standard Intel Cooler similar to this one;

Not wishing to hijack the thread.....but are you intending to offer an 'air cooled' alternative to the Titan Fenrir as it's not compatible with the ASUS MBs ?

It is complatible with the sabertooth p67 motherboard, on sandy bridge cpus.

Yes, I'm looking at the P8P67 base or PRO board however and would prefer an air cooled solution equivalent to the Titan Fenrir.

Yes we certainly hope so. We're currently looking into alternatives as we speak and hope to offer one shortly so keep your eye out!

Thanks for the feedback. This fan is not something we will be stocking in the near future, but you're welcome to install one of these in the computer yourself once you receive it.
