Cool, will try this out on my laptop, is there an expiry date?

No, there isn't. Not until they release the public version which won't be for months and even then you get quite a lot of time to make the change to that one so you won't lose your data regardless. Try it, it's nice. I think it's a massive improvement over 8.1. It's like a hybrid between the sleekness and rapidity of Windows 7 and the features of Windows 8, without being so intrusive.

Awesome, as i say ill try it on my laptop first for a while then maybe knock it onto my main machine. Hopefully start swwing drivers etc soon.

Yes, there is - it's around 180 days from when you install it. The version I'm running now expires next April (it's easily checked, just run winver).

However, there will be more builds before then, meaning the expiry date should keep getting pushed back as you install newer builds.
