Windows 23H2 is finally out of beta and should be available on windows update.

You’ll have to enable the toggle to include updates as soon as they’re available, then do a search and it should pop up.

This is a significant update with the integration of windows copilot AI, it’s bound to be buggy for a while given the AI is integrated to the entire OS so be prepared to roll back. You get 14 days to restore your old version from within windows, but worth taking a backup or ready for a clean install if you want to revert

I had copilot pop up on the laptop the other week, I turned it off

At long last, i don't have to have the "always merged" option for the task bar ...........

I have to admit that I don't really like the UX of Win11, but this was really one of the things that bothered me the most

That was a huge backlash that made them revert, you certainly weren't amongst the few that were annoyed by that.

Just tried to get it on the laptop using the first 2 methods on that article, with no joy, going to try media creation tool, and see what happens, the installation assistant says I've already got the latest version, this is what shows:

You could try triggering/installing it manually via the Windows Installation Assistant...

Yes, that seems to have worked. Had a few snags with NVIDIA software afterwards but all working now. Copilot is a bit underwhelming though
