Windows XP, Vista and 7 Game

yo guys

Im on amazon buying my games and Amazon says the game is compatible with Vista/XP, even though Im pretty sure it works with 7. Is that just because the game is old ? Does anyone have this game on Windows 7 ? I already have shogun 2 ordered.

I have also seen people on other forums claiming that UbiS said that it does not work with Win7 but others seem to play it OK.

Any help ?

If it works on Vista, it should work on Windows 7. I see no reason why it wouldn't. Worst case scenario, you can sandbox it.

I have loads of old games & haven't come across one that wont work on windows7.It's sometimes necessary though to fiddle with compatibility mode settings.

I've had it running on Win 7 x64 in the past so should be fine.
