wireless card problem

I bought the PCI E wireless N card with my computer, and it picks up signals fine, but I can't seem to be able to get a connection between the router and the adaptor..
It gives my network name as available, but when trying to connect, it won't..
Why is this? anyone?

Sorry for asking, but have you connected the antennas,if so try pointing the antennas to different angles.

Thats ood, should be able to connect fine to your box..

unless its requiring your password for it?

Have you considered taking out the wireless card and reslotting it back it (while pc is off)? They usually solve minor problems.

Not that this will necessarily help you, however I had a similar problem between my Dell laptop and Billion router. After trying to troubleshoot and fix myself, I contacted Billion and they said to change the channel on the wireless to a different frequency. Not sure if that will even be possible but if it is might be worth giving it a shot! (I guess you'll need to connect to the router through an Ethernet cable until the wireless problem is sorted though!)
