O man :( I know how it feels waiting, sucks ass.

Mine got dispatched this afternoon, was a pretty base system they had to build as I am fitting the graphics cards myself once it arrives :)

Hopefully wont be too long for you to wait :) From Building to dispatch was only 2 days I think for me, maybe 3, so really quick once its in building.

:(

Only preproduction working day 5. Am trying to ask the Live Support guys if there's anything I can change to speed up the order but by the sounds of this thread, it probably means a long wait irrespective of which way things go.

Yus, there is little you can do to speed things up. The only example would be if something is out of stock, but other than that, its just a waiting game...a very fun game though! (no really!)

I think I mentioned in another thread that I'm used to things arriving quickly, so a build is an agonising wait. In fact, it reminds me of the time we first bought a desktop in 96 and it took something like a month to be ready to collect as it was built from scratch. But back then, you could go into a computer store and bargain extra things - we managed a few freebie CD-ROMs, mousemat and a joystick. Can't really do that online! :D

You could try! Though now you may be met with questions like "What are these CD-ROMs you speak of?" (not here of course, far too clever here) :D

My Optimus II was built on working day five and is awaiting dispatch today on working day six! Delighted with the speed from PCS. Have faith fellas :D

I think the concerning thing for me is the lead times: 98.61% of laptops are delivered within 21 days and this is the same at 28 days, which means there is some proportion of people who are waiting longer than four weeks and still haven't received their laptop.

I still have my fingers crossed though.

I had parts out of stock until last Tuesday, since then I guess I have just been in the standard queue. The average is under 10 days so presumably, if they are saying nothing will make it quicker, they aren't having trouble getting hold of anything you ordered.

Hope you get it sooner than me, I'm not enjoying the wait....
