Would I have to pay UK customs for buying a laptop fan?

Hi,

I have a recoil III gaming pc that I bought a couple years back. Yesterday, one of my fans went out of commission and I am in the progress of arranging PCSpecialist to sell me a new one. However, I currently reside in Sweden, and I was wondering whether I would have to go through the whole hassle of customs if I bought it from here. Has anyone been in my situation and could give some advice?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think there's a minimum amount that the item has to be before it's taxed at customs, I could be wrong though. Certainly with my records anything under about £15 is tax free I think.

I dont think it would be the UK VAT or customs you would be paying but whatever your country applies with regard to import of goods. You best check would be to look at any of your country's websites relating to imports / taxes and customs.
