X3DAudio1_6.dll ERROR - Help please?

Hello, I recently bought a laptop off pcspecialist, hoping I'd be able to start abit of gaming again, and when I came to run arma2, I keep getting the error message "C:\windows\systems32\X3D_Audio1_6.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error." I did abit of research, and got told it was a direct x problem.. so I've fully updated my direct X, and still no luck.. After doing hours and hours of research and trying to fix it, I've really had enough now, tried running steam as admin, the game as admin, i've tried verifying the cache, tried re-installing steam & arma2 several times, also i've tried updating my graphics card drivers, still same problem..

Does anyone know how I can fix this? It's really bugging me, and I'm really wanting to start playing arma2 again so I can play on the dayZ mod.

Yeah, I've tried it so many times, I have now got (5) of the set ups in my downloads folder, I Really want to sort this out, it's bugging me so much! Anyone got any advice?
