I recently received my new computer from PC Specialist and it’s been great, and seems to be functioning perfectly. My build includes the Zotac 3070 TI. It is running games very well, but I noticed a couple of cosmetic issues with the hardware.
The first photo shows the top of the card is bent down slightly on the right. Is this how it should be, or did it get bent during transit? I am not having any issues with cooling (it rarely reaches its target temperature even on full load), so I don’t think that it’s affecting airflow significantly. I’m inclined to think “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”!
Both photos show the RGB. Green and blue work well, but the red seems to only work well at the edges and the rest is a bit dull. The top photo is supposed to be static yellow for the whole card (being an even mix of red and green) but the red component gets overwhelmed by the green in the middle of the card. Some red is present in the middle of the card, as can be seen in the photo showing static red. Is this an issue with my card, or just how all of these cards are made?
Neither of these issues are a showstopper for me as the card is working fine for games and got good benchmarks, they are just small cosmetic issues that have been bugging me a bit.

I have just realised something that is really quite obvious now that I have seen it. With the RGB off, you can see that the case colour varies across the board. The RGB has to shine through this. The different case colours are acting as a filter, so where the case colour is purple, the red is getting through well, but where the case colour is turquoise, the red is struggling but the green and blue shine through fine. Makes sense but seems like they could have thought about the design a little more. Oh well, at least that implies that it is not an issue with my card!
