Zotac geforce rtx 3090 ti fan blades sheared off

Upon receiving my pc 2 days ago after using it for a couple of hours i noticed a rattling noise coming from the tower.i did have my headphones on at the time whilst gaming.
I quickly had to do a forced shutdown.
After opening the case i noticed the zotac support bracket the slide control screw had vibrated along causing the end of the graphics card to dip slightly which hit the fan causing 2 blades to shear off.
Now my graphics card vibrates on startup.and is now getting worse.
I contacted your support to be told to look online for a replacement fan
Surely the loose sliding control screw would have been picked up in quality testing.
The question i would like to ask can you supply the fan blade.
As i live in jersey i dont want to send the pc back as you dont collect from jersey for the first month and would be quite expensive to do so.
£2700 pc? i am worried it could cause irreparable damage.
Please could you advise.

Can you link your full specs from the order page?
If youve only had it two days, all courier costs etc should still be covered regardless of what warranty package you chose, and you should be able to RMA it.

I know it will be rough to hear this, but, the issue might be that PCS might consider it negligence...
One of the main bits of advice given is to always check a system over when receiving it, things can wiggle lose in transport, and such a heavy GPU can mean even with the foam bag etc they pack in, the weight and vibration means it should be checked over to make sure its still secure.
If you can tell them you checked it over and couldnt see any issue, you might be alright... youve just got it so I would work on the premise that it wasnt properly secured during construction and hope you can reason that with them.
You are going to have to tell them everything youve done in receiving it and setting it up.

You're gonna have to go back to PCS customer support and see what they say, but with broken fans I would not be running it atm

Also be aware, the forum is not PCS... some of the PCS staff visit it but its not actively monitored, mods are all volunteers

Could you post a picture of the fans you're talking about?

And yes, we need your full specs if possible.

What did you tell PCS when you called them, and what did they ask?
Have they said you are liable for it?

What did you do with the machine when you first got it?

The fan needs replacing, if the fan itself cant be replaced then its likely the whole GPU would need to be.... I dont think its a good idea to use the machine given what you have said about the noises and its vibrating.

Have you touched the GPU or mounting bracket at all, or just visually inspected it?

They told me to look online for replacement fan blades.
And said it shouldn't be a issue with a slight wobble when running under load.

It was only afterwards i was thinking thats the card warranty void if i touch it.
Was a little shocked with there response if iam honest.
