What’ve might I have missed though please?
It was via the Corsair ticket, I screenshotted it earlier for you, via https://help.corsair.com/
They sent me another 32gb of ram that was apparently on the qvl list, it was defo a legit product and came from corsair, they gave me tracking etc. I’m...
Why didn’t you say that to start with! Would have been really helpful! Good to get it now though thank you.
Ekans the Pokemon, I grew up with it, I remember that one. I also grey up with metal gear solid though!
Hey I listed everything I did, did you see? What’ve I missed?
I am very much listening to feedback. That last post from ekans (as in the Pokemon?) had no reasoning behind it.
I will try avoiding Norton and stick defender.
I get it for free and I’ve had several laptops with it and 3 PCs since at least 2005, never had any issues or slowing down. I’ve tried a few others since and they were bad.
Just to reiterate, it runs fine with everything except icue.
Installed the new ram and the computer restarts, sleeps etc fine with iCue installed but it has no twice done the same thing as happened when trying to restart, but it has happened suddenly during use. No signal to monitor, keyboard and mouse off, orange Dram light etc.

Second time around...
That's why I said "it's showing ok as far as I can see" so I’m waiting for another reply, I repeated everything as clearly as I could because it seemed a bit extreme when things had been working ok for a full day (like you just said but you know more as to why). Ok, so he definitely didn't read...
Yes I did everything by the book this time and it appears everything is running fine now although I have had a reply from Corsair. They said they are aware of the issue and are taking the blame. Worryingly he is a bit worried my ram SPD info has been corrupted (affected in his words) although I...
Funnily enough corsair recommends you to uninstall ICUE from add or remove programs... although we could use revo to uninstall it I guess?
SOLUTION FOR ME: The problem has gone again after either uninstalling ICUE and restarting a few times or possibly turning ICUE off and turning EXPO on and...
Ok thanks I certainly will do when this is finally resolved.
I think I’ve just realised the restart issue and the armoury crate issue may have been coincidence and distraction.
Whilst trying to do a clean install I’ve still got the issue but looking more carefully I have an orange light on...
