Thanks will do.
I'm reaching the upper limits of my budget. I've been advised by support that 1000W PSU isn't necessary so might go with 850W and make those changes.
My last question. For Simracing do I really need a 4070? the price difference is huge and with a 4060 I can probably upgrade the...
Yup absolutely possible. I could've sent the parts list via support email, done it on the site or called them up.
In the end I've opted for a refund and will be ordering again in 2 weeks.
Hey,
I posted my specs a few weeks ago and frankly got ripped apart.
Decided to refund and re-order and I'm thinking of the below. Does this all work?
It's used 95% of the time for simracing
Case
LIAN LI LANCOOL 215 GAMING CASE
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Eight Core CPU...
Just as an update and for clarity incase anyone else reads this it turns out I can return and upgrade. No need to cancel or refund or start again.
Spent the extra money and went big, thanks.
I think what I'll do is RMA it and change a few of the parts.
The RAM I already have and couldn't select no RAM
The Hard Drives I'm fine with. One is for storage and the other for like 3 simracing games I play.
I'll get a slightly better mobo, cooling and apparently PSU. I'll have about £300 to...
I just checked and adding a 3060 gives me the exact same recommendation.
I've done the calculations and it should be fine. It certainly shouldn't be causing issues on startup.
That's not the port I'm trying to use, someone recommeneded I use it and I can't.
Honestly I really don't want to go...
The RAM is being replaced at the end of the month.
It's just the tabs at the back you can snap off, it was just bent a little bit. Nothing major at all.
Funnily enough I had a higher spec PSU and it told me I didn't need it for this build and if I'd like to replace it.
Hey guys,
So I bought a new PC that arrived today. I bought without a Graphics card.
I got it, seated the GPU and (eventually) found the PCI-e cables and plugged it in.
Unfortunately I'm getting no signal to monitor.
The fans run, and I'm getting no weird beeps. The card works because I'm...
Funnily enough you're right about the storage it was meant to be a SSD, see the attached for the (hopefully) final build.
I went with the 450W as I think 350W might've been a bit too borderline.
I stuck with the 27" (hoping it's not a typo!) Because I also went with the CM keyboard and mouse...
Hi,
Thanks for replying that puts my mind at ease.
It's for gaming so 10 is probably what i'll go for, but I want to play around with shells and stuff before I commit the money so i'm happy I'll be able to do that.
While i'm here please see the attached build. Budget was £800 but couldn't...
Hi guys,
I'm about to put an order in for a desktop and was wondering something.
I'm not sure about windows 10 yet so I haven't included it in my build, when my PC arrives will it have a trial version of windows installed?
My last computer did and I was able to get a copy and verify it, is...
