I'm trying to take out the drive bay but can only get the screw closest to me.

When you open the back door of the case the space between the psu and the drive bay is completely filled with the cables that are already in. It is impossible for me to get at the port to plug in the pcie unless I am missing something here? Thats why I mentioned the fans at the side as I think...

Thank you for the reply. I have 3 corsair 120mm fans on that panel so would I have to take them out as well? The drive bay is a big part of the problem so removing it should allow me to get it in even from the front side of the case.

Yes that was what I assumed but with the 5800x not having integrated graphics I will have to install the card to be able to download DDU etc?

Yeah I went through all those considerations and even looked at other builders but PCS seem to be the cheapest by a decent margin. The 3090 just seems so absurdly overpriced for a 10% performance gain at best. Mine is purely for gaming so the 5800x seemed like a fair bet but the 10850 or 10900k...

I have a 1080ti in my current build and its still plenty good. The only thing stopping me is thinking that the next release of GPU's may be just as affected as the 30 series/ 6000 series.

Im honestly pondering just giving in and amending the order without the gpu and waiting until the situation resolves. I dont know if I can be bothered waiting until summer. Sigh...

This is why I went with the 5800x instead. Having two parts that have no eta would probably up my wait time massively.
