After some months and several problems and inestabilities I decided to migrate from Ubuntu to Linux Mint. This distribution is more stable in this machine and it even managed to launch Steam games. So my recommendation for Recoil 16 is Linux Mint 22

I just installed Linux Mint 22 Cinamon and is working perfectly. Still have a dual boot installation. Now Steam is running just fine in linux Mint. I don't recommend Ubuntu for this machine.

I have a recoil 16 and I don't recommend it for linux distributions. At least with Ubuntu it doesn't seem to work as smoothly as in windows. I have dual boot and considering trying Linux Mint or migrating to Windows completely.

Hi @JavaChr1s , going through the manual I think the cooler can be operated without any software. I recommend contacting PC Specialist and ask them about the 2023 manual. They had sent me a previous version. Thanks for the link to the software I will give a try as soon as possible.

Hi @sithis , Do you have any tips on how to use the water cooler in linux. I have read the manual and I have seen there is some software necessary for it to run. Thanks

Hi @JavaChr1s, Thanks a lot for your reply. I ended up installing Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS as my primary OS in one drive and then Windows 11 home in the secondary drive. I configured the GRUB to recognize both Systems and had no issues in that sense. I could run both systems without major issues...

Thanks a lot for your answer @sithis . My laptop is arriving tomorrow so I will start the installation process this weekend. I finally configured 2 SSD drives in case I need to install each operating system in a different physical drive. Let's see how it goes.
