Here is my result

Looking at the results it’s a pity that fan duty isn’t recorded.
The max GPU temp was 71.5
Max CPU temp was 77 which was during the CPU test
I just assume loud meant hot, especially as no matter how I set the curve it would always end up at 100% constantly whilst gaming. Perhaps that’s the way it’s meant to be
Ok ta.
I’ll take a look at the temps and post them up tomorrow.
I could probably do it a lazy way and read it off of the Corsair LCD pump cap whilst running Cyberpunk, 6d Falluj or Ark etc, although it gives an option of GPU 1 and GPU 2.
I’m not sure if I mentioned it before the the Palit...
I tried that - it just seems to be a hot running card. I’ve tried under-clocking it and playing with the curve but it just runs hot - but it’s not a PCS supplied card so it’s best not to talk about it, so I’ve been thinking about changing through the PCS upgrade system to something less...
Hi Scott
My new machine arrived earlier and I love it.
The 7800X3D is so much better than my old 8600.
I notice that fast boot is off in this system whereas all my previous PCS computers had it on.
I read around the net about it and there seems to be a split decision on the subject. Any advice...
Cheers for the reply.
here is the updated version with the suggested changes.
I went with the P44Pro as it seemed to offer best speed/ capacity price ratio and it was going to be my Windows drive.
It’s gone a bit over budget now it’s over £1400, but I did save myself a wad by sticking with my...
Hello all
After receiving some advice on here regarding a build I had on order I decided to cancel it and start again, but this time to try to follow the advice I was given and save £1000
Here goes.
Budget £1300
My PC will be used purely for gaming and VR gaming.
My monitor is a 1440 144hz...
Fair point taken.
I will readily admit that I never usually look at future proofing as I change my desktop every 5 years or so.
I’m going to be stuck with the 4070ti as I’ve already given my son my old PC - I kind of wished I’d gone the fast track route now lol
Thanks for the critique- I’ll definitely take time to go over what you suggest.
I’m surprised about the AIO. The PCS 240 frost flow in my 8600 has lasted from 2018 and is still going strong
Regarding the AMD vs Intel CPU
I always choose Intel these days as I’m still annoyed that back in the day my mates Pentium 75 was quicker than my AMD DX4-100
The option to change spec after purchase is lethal- the original spec I posted is what I originally was going to get to replace my 8600k and 3070ti - I would have transferred the 3070ti into the new PC, but that “amend your spec” option gets me every time and probably put my build back with...
