Mine is here, got a Zotac card. Lots of people say it is one of the cheaper cards but I couldn't care less considering it's a 3080 either way.
They did great with the build, cable management is great. Wish I didn't end up adding those extra LL120s onto the NZXT H511 though, as it's best config...
Yes, that's why I recommend combo-ing with Windows Defender. If you really want some sort of 'second opinion' type of scanner, use Defender + Malwarebytes
no, don't get McAfee, you have an anti-virus preinstalled into the windows operating system called 'Windows Defender' This is what I use and it's good on its own but I combo it with malwarebytes.
If you do want another option, get the free version of malwarebytes, I'd say it's the best to combo...
I added 3, should be more than enough as pretty sure they also use the regular case fans as well. I’m not gonna be watercooled myself so dont need as much as 3 aren’t going on a rad
but with that, let‘s keep it on topic before mods see 👀
Hopefully mine goes into building soon, added a 3 pack of the Corsair rgb fans at 12:30 last night due to my brain convincing me I needed better airflow, and that it’s a good deal
Which to be honest it really is, PCS sells those things cheaper than anywhere else that I can find.
alright nice! Seeing what PCS said to me about how all builds ordered 2020 should be complete on the next shipment of GPUs, hopefully your build progressing signals that shipment got there. This is utter speculation, and there’s many reasons why this might not be the case but if that is the...
100% the same with you on that, full intended to build myself a system and saw that securing, specifically my GPU, was going to just drive me up the wall 😂
Yeah that’s true, I’ve only skewed it through the lens that some people at the minute did go with a prebuilt because lots of buzz surrounded them for awhile saying they were the way to go to secure parts right now.
Unless you need to replace things, your going to spend the same amount anyway, and unless he wants a 30-series later on, he won’t need 850w (even so, 750w is perfectly fine for pairing with a 3080). Everything else is going to cost practically the same in the long run, as it’s all stuff that are...
Removing unnecessary components is sometimes worth it for people who don’t have money at the time. If you NEED to spend less than 900, mix and match my suggestions until you get under that, it can always be upgraded later especially things like the RAM, storage and Wi-Fi card. I also don’t see...
Either of these are good, but there is more corners to be cut if needed.
on the first machine you are not going to draw 850w, downgrade considerably. If you really want a modular PSU go for the 650w gold Corsair one (Think that’s the lowest the have? for the RMx) If you don’t require modular...
They don’t. I spoke with them today and they semi-confirmed that in the next batch of cards everyone who ordered in 2020 will be fulfilled. For all you guys on or near 110 days, im guessing you just got unlucky with how its went as if they get a shipment this week/early next week, some people...
I personally have waited for the 3080 for DLSS, something just makes me think AMD's variant won't be as efficient or 'good', as NVIDIA have been toying with AI for a long time now
