Thanks for that @Xtie - would you believe it, I've just had a response to the RMA! They've done some BIOS updates and reinstalled drivers again and said its working fine, so it's being shipped back to me! Really hope it cures the problem...
Thanks for that @Xtie , I'll give them a call later on (y)
Did you get any updates from them in between, or just get notified that your PC had been dispatched back to you?
Thanks for posting this thread, @Xtie and for the response @SpyderTracks as I was just about to ask the same question. My PC was sent back via an RMA on 25/1 and was marked as received on 29/1 in my account (so probably received a day or two earlier). A couple of days after yours.
Could you...
Hi All,
Wanted to get a bit of advice on the below spec.
The laptop is to serve 2 purposes:
1) I have a new Ryzen 9 5900x for work but in around 12m time I'll need something to take with me when travelling. I was going to get a simple Ryzen 5 4500U laptop with a small but fast SSD for...
Re the software, yes I think it is - its the software that came pre-installed on the machine...
So pleased I was advised to upgrade to this case as it has great airflow!
Hi all, just wanted to give a bit of an update on this in case others are facing the same issue. Having uninstalled Logitech software and running all windows updates, and trying a wired keyboard, I had no joy.
I rang technical help - long wait as expected but I did get through to a very helpful...
Hi @ActuallyDenz thanks for getting back to me.
I've checked all of my correspondence since raising the RMA and there isn't one like that.
I raised the RMA on Monday and received the below:
I then received another email with a copy of the problem (as I wrote it) attached.
I then received...
Hi All,
Not sure I'll be able to get through to PCS before my pick up time, and I also asked this question via email to PCS 2 days ago with no reply as yet, so thought I would try the forum.
My earlier issues with a laggy keyboard and mouse (and speakers) are likely to be motherboard related...
Actually I took that decision all by myself!
Having seen the advice against Bullguard on these forums, I searched for the best ranking AV program and found a number of positive reports on BitDefender. Having paid for it (yeah, only £22 but still) is there a reason I should give up on it? I...
Thanks for all of the advice. In answer to your question @andjef796 on advice from here I asked for no AV as part of the build and then installed Bitdefender when I received the PC.
I've gone through the Windows 10 update (thanks @Nursemorph for the link and @ubuysa for the advice) and that...
OK, I've removed the logitech software and then plugged in a Dell wired keyboard (of some vintage!)
The keyboard is still laggy - missing key strokes, catching up a few seconds later etc - I don't understand why...:(
Any ideas, anyone? If not, I'll queue for tech support tomorrow...
OK, finally got hold of a wired keyboard so will have a go at making the changes this afternoon and hopefully that will fix the issue... Thanks for the advice @Nursemorph and @ubuysa
