PCSPECIALIST So much to choose from, but which would you pick?

Money is always a factor :) otherwise you could just max every option. GPU choice depends on type of games you play as well as resolution. I assume for photography you may want the best screen available.

PCSPECIALIST 4K Gaming PC to last a few years?

Surprise that is the case with intel CPUs now but guess that happens when you stop looking at reviews and new launches :) I went for a liquid cooled GPU mainly for noise reduction and so far it has been excellent. Nto sure what’s the difference between the corsair hydro X and the standard liquid...

    PCSPECIALIST Light gaming /office pc

All noted and thanks for the feedback. I currently have 2 x GTX 680 and one of them will be going in the system. Should I upgrade the GPU? Gaming will only be on a 1080 monitor and only racing games which I assume they are not very taxing on the GPU.

    PCSPECIALIST Light gaming /office pc

Thanks for that. is the AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six Core better than the i5? Not sure why the promo code is not working. A bit weird to have it on the latest edition of the magazine but expired. I was thinking of choosing finance but £29 administration fee made me reconsider.

Well first all hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and wish everyone a happy new year! Almost 40 and never had the need to drive. PCSPECIALIST SSD M2 SM961 vs PM961

When recommending a new system and when the budget allows we usually recommend an M2 drive as the main drive. The ones usually recommended are the Samsung SM961 or PM961. The PM961 is cheaper and the difference between those is more significant as you increase the capacity. From checking reviews...

    PCSPECIALIST liquid series system

The number of cases available decreases depending on the liquid cooling kit you choose. For the high kit here are 6 and with the extreme kit only 2. Also most cases are cheaper or priced close to what a retailer like scan or amazon will sell it for apart from the thermaltake x5 which is £199 in...

    PCSPECIALIST Monitors

I had SLI before and I never had issues with it. The reason for considering the X34A was for the higher fps it seems I can get(no idea about AA). I have no clue of whether I will be able to add a 2nd gpu or not. I could ask PCS (sent lots of emails so far but were promptly answered) as by the...

    PCSPECIALIST Monitors

Still undecided about a suitable monitor. I was considering the Acer Predatpr X34A but not sure if it is what I need. The Acer predator Z35 is not 4K but has 144hz and it is cheaper. Would it be worth it spending more than £600 on a monitor? I wouldn't say I play very often but when I do I would...
