what is the advantage of having solid state drive say40gb,as opposed to a 1TB WD CAVIAR GREEN WD10EARS, SATA 3 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE,then making a partition on the 1tb drive for the os?

can anyone answere this,iv asked before,if i get2 PORT USB 3.0 INTERNAL PCI EXPRESS CARD will i still have usbs as standard,already asked pcspecialists first answer yes second answer no.if i get usb as standard will i have any usb3 ports.
