I don’t understand, I thought you were ordering a PCS build? Im not understanding what the issue is, you’ve already been advised of the specs for your budget? you were never recommended the 4000d, you were recommended the 3500x which is out of stock and as a replacement the 5000x

100%. For most uses I'd even argue the CPU shouldn't need to be touched for the lifetime of the build.

As already said, for the level of components you'd need the 5000X

So this is prices on Amazon according to CamelCamel, went as low as £314 in July

I paid £370 for my 7800X3D this January. It went down as low as around £330 around Juneish I think It was now up to around £480 at places you could actually find it I have a feeling PCS price when it went out of stock was still very low at around £350ish
