Has anyone tried VR on their new laptop and what were the results? I am particularly interested in Ionico, Oculus Quest 2, MSFS20 and Half Life Alyx. But leave the forum open to any VR on any PCS laptop for the benefit of others.

Thought I may upgrade to gold for another £64... went amend and it's now another £86!!! No amendment cost, just bumped up gold. I'll probably take my chances and stay with Silver as that annoyed me. Is this normal? Build started today which may have affected this.

Is the lack of a MUX switch significant if I primarily want to output to Oculus Quest 2? Similarly I assume g-sync is not critical? And if using quest, is the GPU outputting to essentially 3 screens or can you avoid a "mirror mode" to maximise GPU performance to Quest?

Thanks. A little googling (dangerous) may provide an explanation? I thought not a lot was happening during menus (other than perhaps some background loading) but perhaps the menus are not frame locked which MAY mean your laptop is running an unnecessary and unusually high frame rate? I guess...

Uh oh... a few Ionico's now starting to be received. It will be interesting to hear feedback. My 15 build starts allegedly the 15th March. Did you include Arctic paste upgrade and if so I wonder if that was applied correctly as some people appear to have reported issues on other models? Strange...
