    Thanks for that @Xtie - would you believe it, I've just had a response to the RMA! They've done some BIOS updates and reinstalled drivers again and said its working fine, so it's being shipped back to me! Really hope it cures the problem...

    OK, I've removed the logitech software and then plugged in a Dell wired keyboard (of some vintage!) The keyboard is still laggy - missing key strokes, catching up a few seconds later etc - I don't understand why...:( Any ideas, anyone? If not, I'll queue for tech support tomorrow...
