Hi all, New PC just arrived. When I switch on, no signal reaches the monitor, but the PC emits the following beeps: 1 long beep, 3 short beeps, then a pause, then 1 short beep. Does anyone know what this could mean? Many thanks

The unfortunate truth is that sometimes you have to make a fuss in order to have your problem taken seriously - even at otherwise reputable companies such as PCS.

It's the 5950 holding you up. You'd have been done a while ago if you'd stuck to 5900.

That is not a gaming PC - it has integrated graphics. You cannot get a gaming PC for this budget I'm afraid :(

Was very pleasantly surprised to only wait 28 days (including building and testing) for a 5900x and 3090 Rog Strix.

It was the 5900x, not 5950x :D Edit: Last I heard the 3080 Strix was rarer than 3080.

It's about £970 more to go from 3080 Rog Strix to 3090 Rog Strix.

Guess they're plentiful for 3090s due to the price.

Completely serious. Maybe you are waiting on other components? I have: -Be Quiet! Full tower case -RTx 1000 PSU -H115i Pro Cooler -X570-F motherboard -1x 500Gb 980 SSD -1x 1Tb 980 SSD Could be those are different for you.

You must have another part which went out of stock, because the 5800x is plentiful.

Damn - wonder if something elae is holding up the build.

Those are both items with decent availability - so shouldn't be too long.
