Many people had an update yesterday. Now some apps close immediately.
The bug is in the WebView component. google are working on a fix.

Thanks @TonyCarter - I have gone through the instructions. It's difficult to trace the cables (PCS do a very tidy job of cable management) but all connections are in place .... they just don't seem to go to the places you would expect.
With so many wires going behind the MB and all looking the...
I have sent a message to PCS to see if they have a schematic for the RGB lighting.
I have also posted on the Corsair forum.
I'll follow up here if I get any more info. I am curious if any other people have the same issue.
Aside from the re-install items, can you tell me if the hacker got control via TeamViewer?
If so, they will have an ID for your PC which will probably be the same ID if you ever re-install TeamViewer again.
I am not 100% certain but I think it gets an ID from the CPU/BIOS.
My father got caught...
I commented on the same thing a couple of weeks ago.
It is just left hanging off the MB due to not having anywhere else to go. No problem with that but mine was originally wedged between the base of the case and a drive cage so I had to free it. I put a bit of blu-tack under mine and stuck it...
My experience - Nov/Dec, so during the pre-xmas rush.
I had no unusual components in my orders.
Desktop:
Pre-Production - 11 working days
Dispatched - 4 working days later
Laptop:
Pre-Production - 7 working days
Dispatched - 2 working days later
I persuaded my dad to get an x-rite device which I now borrow every couple of months. Ideally it should stay on the desk as it measures ambient light.
My camera club has a color munki. We use it to calibrate screens, a projector and printers. The club paid for it and we can all 'borrow' it for a...
There is no GTX 2060, it is RTX 2060. That site allows you to pick cards that don't exist !
Try the site again with RTX 2060 and it is all good.
I also tried RTX 2060 'mobile' and it was still all good
I have the R7 3700X, RTX 2060, 16GB
And my kids have installed Minecraft Windows edition...
This article https://www.minitool.com/news/input-not-supported.html also mentions the wrong resolution from the PC
And it gives a link to how to get into Safe Mode if you're having problems.
@RogWal I agree with all of your points.
I have already decided on the level of protection I need on my PC.
My original post was a simple enquiry as to whether Bull Guard really is that bad. I think the general opinion is yes.
I agree that Defender is good. Much better today than it ever was.
Phishing and internet Banking? Defender is not perfect with these, even if you use Edge.
I'll stick with my F-Secure thanks. I also get parental control over all my kids accounts.
If the lights on the Ethernet port (both PC and router) are flashing, then there is activity so the cable is connected ok. If not, then try removing and reconnecting the cable.
If there are still problems, one thing worth trying is to turn off all devices connected to the network and wait 60...
When i purchased my recent 2 PCS machines (one desktop, one laptop) I opted for the free 3 months of Bull Guard until I can transfer my F-Secure licenses over to from my old machines.
I have no plans to keep Bull Guard long term but I have so far found no negative effect from having it...
Since no brand is mentioned, then it could be anything.
I ordered the AMD Fusion which clearly states an Asus DUAL RTX 2060 card. But not which model.
I queried PCS and they said it will have 3xDP and 1xHDMI ..... this was ok for me as I can use DVI or DP
But then I checked the Asus card...
@andjef796 - I have a lot of features to try out but I'm sure I'll be impressed.
I have used HDR Panorama in the past but due to processing time, I have avoided it.
It's an excuse to get out and take more photos :)
I've wanted to upgrade my PC for a while. Primary use is Lightroom (classic) and Photoshop, and also Working from home.
I looked at the entry level Studio PC's on here but ended up with the Black Friday Fusion AMD - virtually the same spec and a better price. And with RGB !
I didn't need the 3...
I think it is ok. And I suspect the status updates may not be in real time. Just when somebody has time to catch up with paperwork and update their system. My first PCS PC (back in 2011) went from building, test, QC, dispatch within a few hours. I chased PCS support on this and they assured me...
