Figured it'd be something along those lines and fwiw... if I was ever interested in a watch it would honestly likely be one of these. They do have a certain something don't they... probably even for those who weren't 80's kids. As for the date thing, it should run smaller to larger...

Been meaning to ask actually, honest curiosity, and pardon me for being maybe slow but... what's the deal with these watches? I mean, I can see that they're modernised versions of the 80's Casio's (says Bluetooth on it) which were cool (I had one at some point) but is mainly the nostalgia thing...

Ended up finding one for the gf at £479 as it's the slightly better monitor (over the G34WQC at £439) especially re the flat screen for artwork aso. I was tempted to get one for me but I really like curved screens ever since my first 5 years ago.

Well, two days later and I've finally tracked down an M34WQ at about the price it should be, in the £400-500 range, which isn't far off that of a G34WQC... and that suggested price range shows that Gigabyte are pretty much kings of lower budget yet very quality monitors. I'm kind of stuck now...

Nice, nice, nice. So, this monitor is pretty much the IPS version of what I have; G34WQC, which has been awesome. Shame this wasn't around when I was buying, else I might have snapped it up. Still, at about £650 against the IPS choice back then, the LG 34GN850-B, which was and still is around...

Just be aware to peruse the reviews re the double left clicking issue that a good few newer Logitech mice are prone to. Some seem to get that quite soon, others after some months of use. It's cos of this that I still haven't upgraded my very trusty G602 to the newer G604 model... then again this...

Just put down on the TV. Samsung QN90A, 50" for £949 on Amazon seemed the best deal to fit the requirements. The 55" was £1099 but overlapped the space a bit much. Rtings review it as good as the Q80T downstairs so all the more reason to game in bed for the hibernation season ahead. Gf let me...

I'm assured of the quality of Milwaukee but not much choice when and where I looked. I just took a leaf from my dad's book and went with DeWalt for the SDS drill and hedge trimmer. Failing that, Makita would do but I don't need much more in the way of power tools (well, I say that now but...)

Exactly the issue I had re reviews. Not just a mixed bag of brands and perceived quality thereof, but in actual performance and reliability too. It's almost like they're a gimmick that doesn't actually do the thing. Still, better to at least try to be safe than sorry I guess.

Well, check on the SDS hammer drill for the bloody great concrete lintels in this house, and box cutter cos with the amount of packages we've been getting I'm going to get hurt eventually using scissors... Also a hammer, pry bar, torpedo level, hedge trimmer (same battery system as the drill)...
