I understand that but usually you can redeem the code but it won’t let you activate/download the game until release date. I’m just curious to see if other people have managed to redeem the amd reward but not received any sort of Ubisoft code

I've had something similar happen. I've redeemed the code PCS have given me and I can see in the reward section the game waiting for me but I haven't received any sort of Uplay code yet.
I mentioned this on another thread yesterday but the videos below really helped me reduce my coil whine. I'm not sure there is much difference in coil whine between the 3080 and 3090 cards but I had a little and after undervolting I can barely hear anything.
It's really simple and the benefits...
I think coil wine is a very common issue with the 30 series. Reading Reddit and other forums lots said that it quietened after a couple days/week and another way to reduce it is by undervolting your GPU. There are some really good YouTube videos that show undervolting gives you just as good...
Ha. I still can’t quite believe how big the case is. Undervolted the gpu last night and was getting consistent 65 (max 70) temps whilst playing red dead and control max settings.
Can’t say I miss the days of having to seriously undervolt my laptops cpus so it didn’t hit 90. The thing is a beast...
Hi guys. Just received my first pc and it’s looking great. I’m about to install my gpu and I’ve noticed there are some things about the pcie cables I’m not quite understanding. The 3090 requires 2 8 pin connectors fed through an adapter. However, I’m only seeing 2 6 pin connectors. Do I need to...
I was literally just about to book a couple days off work now that my pc is coming. Not sure whether to be happy or sad we’ve got to wait another 21 days
Great advice. The design 7 has feet as well so I think i'm all good on that front. And I'll make sure not to install the GPU on the carpet as well.
Exactly. I definitely wouldn't put a pc on a thick rug
What are your thoughts on this? I've read in the past that ESD (electrostatic discharge) can cause parts to break but nowadays parts have been designed to counter-act this problem. There is the whole argument about airflow and dust as well. Is placing a pc on the carpet a bad thing?
I need to...
