I'm just making an educated guess. This is the 2nd person to have their 3080 ROG order status change to being built. Both ordered a Liquid Series build and both ordered after I did. Liquid series also have a much faster estimated build time compared to a standard build on the order status page.
It seems that the Liquid series builds get priority over a standard build. Kinda annoying because I ordered my ROG 3080 at 2pm on the 17th but I guess it is what it is. Got an estimated build date of Friday so fingers crossed it's actually correct this time :)
Sorry. Completely missed this. I'm remaining very skeptical. The guy who runs the Facebook group just posted saying they haven't even started production for the Non-OC yet.
If it's true that PCS are receiving ROG stock it must be the OC edition or they might have possibly mixed it up with the...
I get that. But does the fast track queue get priority over the standard? E.g. Does a fast track person who ordered yesterday get priority over someone who has been waiting a month?
Ahh, got you! Yep, I'm currently on pre-production day 19. 2 weeks would be a good turn-around! In before the Strix cards are in stock but something else isn't ;)
Haha, good luck. Can't believe it's already been 2 weeks since the 3080 launch. Think I'm resigned to the fact I might not be getting my build until the end of the month :(
Well that's the big issue. Just from reading other forums, every retailer seems to be in the same boat regarding stock availability. If they don't know when or how much stock they're gonna receive they can't exactly pass on false information to the customer. It's annoying to wait but we're all...
Just spoke to PCS regarding their ROG stock and when they're expecting it. The guy on the phone said they still don't know so it looks like that timeline is correct. The good news is that he said that only 100 people had placed an order for the ROG 3080 so it shouldn't be long to build for us...
