Ok awesome, I'll keep that in mind when choosing. With the lack of availability before xmas I delayed my purchase, and it looks like there may be new laptops available in January with Nvidia 3000 series GPU's couple with Ryzen processors, so im thinking of waiting and seeing what is announced...
For the Rift S you _should_ be able to use a thunderbolt/USB C to display port adapter if the Thunderbolt connection is direct to PCI-E.
Are you connecting the Quest 2 to the thunderbolt port? I wonder if that might help? It just works on my old Clevo so i've not really tried anything else.
Thanks, I'll be looking for something else then :-) Hope you get it sorted though. I had a look at the reviews of the laptop in Eluktronics guise and saw that there are options to disable the intel GPU, which might help you? I saw a BIOS level switch, dunno if theres any other MUX switch?
