Reinstalling didn't work still only happens in a game when plugged in. So could be a PSU issue or maybe somethings happening to the gpu under full load I can't see it being temps as its not getting that hot.

IT must be something to do with the graphics card as powermizer forces it to run on medium settings with no crashes. If I run powermizer on high it crashes any ideas I've never over clocked it

Yes I've repasted the cpu now. When on battery power it works with no crashes I've now downloaded nvidia powermizer and ran that. The first few tests look good.
