To stop those multiple "I'm waiting" threads, how about a single superthread where everybody can talk about having to wait xxx days for their system?
EDIT: I'd start one but no idea where to start it. So will put it in the laptops section.
I've been nosing around a bit more and it turns out the 580M should support 3D. Now, I still think it's a bit of a gimmick, probably best on a large screen (eg cinema) and not worth going for.
But..........
If I later changed my mind, can the screen be swapped? Does anything else need to be...
Gah! Logged in at 1300 to use the live support. Hit refresh as there was no activity (eg change in queue etc) and I've had to start all over again! :taz:
Any way of disabling user refresh to stop the problem?
At the mo, have a 17.3" vortex II on order. But I've been wondering whether it's worth going for a SSD or not. At the mo, have only one HDD - 500GB 7200rpm.
Is it possible to retrofit an SSD later and use the HDD in the second slot? Or is it best to spec the ssd, go for a smaller hdd and...
I've ordered the Vortex II with a matte screen. My old laptop was matte and my netbook is matte too, so I had no qualms about deciding whether to go for matte or glossy.
My sister has a glossy screen laptop and it's annoying to have the light reflecting off it, which would be a PITA for working...
