Aaaargh, why oh why do PCS let you amend your PC when you've ordered it? It's a nightmare! I've just parted with more cash to make my PC a bit of a beast.
What do you all think?
I'll be using a lot of intensive VST/audio applications at once - like full orchestral samples etc.

Hi all,
My PC is currently in processing, and just looking at options to modify.
I currently have the Caviar Black 1TB selected. However, some of my music production instrument libraries are 200GB in size, so I could do with a little more space possibly.
How does the Green compare to the...
Just ordered this - paid outright for it which feels great!
Any changes you'd make without altering the price too much? It's for medium to heavy gaming, and music production.

Hi all,
I am about to buy a new PC, and have Windows 7 Home Premium from a previous install.
Am I correct in thinking that I can install this on my new PC without any new problems? I just select the NO OPERATING SYSTEM REQUIRED option?
Thanks.
Hi all,
The Mrs. has finally given me the go ahead to spec up a PC and order it!
My budget is £850 or less, which is £25 a month on finance - my limit at this moment in time.
I want to be able to run quite high-end video editing/music editing software (VSTs etc) to a comfortable degree, but...
Today is my birthday, and I'm going to buy a new PC.
My requirements:
* A PC that will last at least for the 4 years that finance will last for. I really don't want to spend anything on it until the finance is up.
* A PC which will play all modern games if I so desire, at highest settings...
Hi all,
Wanting a general gaming PC which I can use for 4-5 years with no upgrades, but also want a music composition PC which needs some decent power for loading VSTs etc.
Now - is the i5-3550 something which could last the distance, or is it genuinely worth the extra £70 for an i7?
Hi all,
Posting a new thread after becoming more realistic about my budget.
Wanting to play LOTRO at ultra-high settings, but not bothered about any other games really. It'd be nice to be able to play most modern games though if I desired.
I also want to use some music composition software...
Considering selling my current PC to raise a bit of cash for a new system. I'd just sell the base unit, as I'd keep my 23" widescreen monitor.
It works with the exception of the DVD and CD-RW drives, which don't!
OS Version: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 3, 32 bit

Hi all,
Just joined in order to buy a PC worthy of playing LOTRO on ultra high settings with everything ticked (see Check my spec).
Anyone else on here play this game?
Still believe it to be the most immersive online fantasy game out there, and that is coming from an ex-WoW player!
