The PSU in my setup started to make weird ticking sounds. At this point, I get different kinds of sounds coming out of it (tick, squeal, coil whine,...). It's continuous and drives me crazy when the pc is on for a longer period of time. I tried to capture the sound on a video which is in the...
Hello,
I have received my new setup yesterday. I noticed that the CPU temp hovers around 60 degrees when idle. It has a stock AMD cooler. Is this normal for this CPU or should I be worried?
Another issue is this ticking sound coming out of the PSU. I trying to capture on a video but...
I am not certain which cooler would be sufficient for the Ryzen 5 3600. I'm looking at PCS FrostFlow 100 V2 (£19) and CoolerMaster 120 (£40). Is liquid cooling an overshoot for this CPU considering I will not attempt to overclock it?
Is it possible to find out which exact type of gpu would the guys use in a build?
I'd like to go for RX 5700 XT, but I can't see which model they would use.
Okay, so I've revised the setup and this is what I'd like to go with. Is there anything that could be done better?

Thank you. I've never had a desktop before so I know almost nothing about components and how they work together.
The thing is, I aim to get a system that can easily run the latest games on highest settings at constant 70+ fps or so.
As for the budget, I think I'd be willing to go up to £1700...
I looked over it again and I could probably go for RTX 2080 Super + Ryzen 5 3600X. I'm wondering, wouldn't the 2080S be bottlenecked by the CPU in some ways?
I am planning to get some 24" 144hz monitor.
Hello, can you please share your thoughts on this build?
I can't tell which would be better for me in terms of price & performance - i7 9700K or Ryzen 7 3800X. The pc will be used mostly for AAA gaming.
I've also been thinking about getting RTX 2080 Super combined with AMD cpu. The problem is...
