Are you sure you’re looking at the right one?
I've actually already updated the Nvidia drivers to the newest ones available, but I don't seem to be able to get hold of new drivers for anything else. I've tried the Intel website for more drivers, for example, but it's really not clear where the best place to go is for new ones otherwise...
> What version of Windows?
I'm on 22H2 of Windows 10 - not what I had when I bought the laptop, but it is what I had right before it died.

This also doesn't make sense to me. I made the...

Password is control-centre-bsod, link will expire on 1st March.
As it states "Zip them all up and post that zip file here" and variations on that, that's what I tried. How was I meant to know the official instructions were wrong? I will find a way to link to them from cloud storage.

(I just tried to upload all the logs as per https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/when-youre-seeking-help-with-a-bsod.71886/ but they didn't appear?)
Full details of the BSOD:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.

A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP.

So an update: somehow, on the third or fourth restart I stopped getting the BSOD. Control Centre wasn't installed properly but for good measure I uninstalled it. I checked Device Manager and a lot of "PCI Devices" were showing warning signs, so I downloaded the official chipset drivers from PCS...
So, I had to reinstall Windows on a new SSD after my old one failed. I have one of the Tongfang models, specifically Elimina Pro Series: 15.6" Matte QHD 165Hz sRGB 100% LED Widescreen (2560x1440).
It was all working fine and I’d spent HOURS reinstalling all my programs.
At that point I noticed...

Hey - what does this "lock/unlock" actually do? I can't tell any difference in how my computer behaves when it's on and when it's off. Thanks for any help!
I'm just wondering about future-proofing my laptop. I'm thinking of buying either an Elimina or an Elimina Pro 15.6", with 1TB of M.2 NVMe storage. I'm actually using (marginally) more than this on my current computer, so I suspect I might hit the cap eventually, but right now I don't want to...
