Whats your budget?
Are you really in need of 64gb RAM? What sort of photo usage do you do on it - stitching panoramics? (several photos?), HDR merging of photos etc?
Do you only use PS or are you a LR user too - cataloging your pictures?
How did you install the drivers - both times?
Did you ensure you had removed the driver properly - use DDU - and then reinstall the previous driver that was working - test that to see if it is the upgraded driver that has caused the problem.
OK - if you are happy that you have everything installed and set correctly then I suggest you take your accusation of the advert being misleading to PCS directly.
This is why it’s critical that the OS and the GamingCenter software and settings is correct from the outset.
In “Office” mode It reduces the CPU and GPU power usage / settings and turns off/minimises the dGPU etc. thus extending battery usage.
Hence I think we need to get OP to CLEAN install...
You will need to phone support and speak directly to PCS regarding opening the BIOS up, if they do.
The forum is not manned by PCS staff and just volunteers helping out others with specs and advice etc.
What is your budget and presumably you do photo editing on a 1440p monitor or 4k photos / videos?
Do you “stitch” together many photos for large panoramic landscapes or do a lot of HDR pictures at all?
You mentioned Adobe so I assume you Are using Lightroom / Photoshop. What’s the video...
The best advice usually comes if there is a budget in mind. We can tell you if it’s worth it to upgrade or if it’s worth saving more for that new system. Hence we ask for a budget in mind.
No one giving advice on specs on here works for PCS so they will tell you honestly and not just spend...

How have you installed Windows / activated Windows?
Are all the updates complete?
How did you source drivers?
Have you installed the gaming center and set the usage to "Light" within that - or whatever the similar setting is to light usage - basically it will not use the dGPU and minimise...
