I guess we will have to wait until Samsung produces a 49" True 4K 32:9 screen :-D But I don`t get all the hype of this screen . Like every other screen is below or worse than this :) Sure the G9 is good and unique in it`s own way , but Asus ROG Swift PG32UQX is probably equal or better...
That sounds like a true geek`s reasoning :-) When I got my 35" screen I was considering a wide range of screens to use and added pro`s and cons for each . Size , resolution , features and design . At that time 49" had been released and also 43" super wide . Picking a screen is not just only...
I`ve been doubtful of these mega superwide screens as they are a bit unwieldy and fairly take up a huge space on the desk . As sceens grows larger than 35-38" it makes it hard to have anything beside it , such as speakers or headset stands . I do realize the immersion and the added experience...
That Jakub is way off as the max TGP for the RTX 3080 is 165w inclusive of boost , and it will only boost if it has thermal headroom to do so ( not an actual issue for the Valeon )
This is odd as the RTX Valeon in this tread below has the 150+15w RTX 3080 16 GB version

Slow POST could indicate issues with CPU/RAM or that it is looking for alternate boot locations , PXE boot , USB , etc . POST is essentially a power on self test and it test various components to see if it is healthy enough to proceed with the OS boot .
The diagram from the manual is...
My Ryzen settings looks like these below and it draw a fine line between heat and performance . It takes a while to find the balance between the CPU and GPU performance and thermal wise , and I think I`ve found mine .
But I do agree on the mousepad on the Valeon , it is quite useless and too large . As for the keyboard , only time will tell if it will last without peeling. But I do like the fact that my Valeon do turn off one of the fans when just doing minor tasks and loads :-)
Ah okay ... no it can only be enabled via the Radeon software as far as I`ve seen on mine . The regular video settings does not have an option for it .
Freesync is only used when using iGPU , when using dGPU the Radeon software does not load as the GPU is disabled . The laptop does not have a G-SYNC module installed for the RTX GPU which means no VRR while using dGPU and internal screen . It does support G-SYNC externally though.
That`s how an RTX 3080 Valeon shold perfrom  One has to enable boost + full TGP to get the maximum potential out of the GPU . As for the CPU , yes the Ryzen 9 gets warm but with a cooling pad blowing cold air through the gaps in the bottom it can stay quite cool and max boost for quite...
I know that my TGP is 140w which is the maximum allowed for the RTX 3070 , but it has actually been above that when checking HWinfo64 during benchmarks and certain games . It has peaked at 144-145 watt in short bursts ... so the 3070 is a very potent GPU when cooling allows for it . As for the...
It is interesting to see that I have the exact same score as Tron1982 with my Valeon despite him having higher score on graphics and physics . But it also shows the very small differencies between the RTX3080 and the RTX3070 . Almost to the point where the only advantage the RTX 3080 have is...
It seems like a good laptop indeed , but 72 % NTSC is the same as roughly 95-98 % sRGB , so the panel will likely be in the same quality ballpark as the others . For a truly outstanding panel for photo and video editing you would be looking for close to or above 90 % Adobe RGB , which covers a...
On my Valeon the MUX setting can be found in the " General Settings " as seen in this screenshot down at the bottom .
Using both the Radeon Vega 8 GPU and RTX 3070 makes the performance drop quite a bit in games and 3D benchmark , but will in return extend battery runtime .
That is not a normal behaviour for the program . Download the program from your PCS support page and re-install it and hopefully it will work as it should .
