I have sent a ticket in with a few questions with BIOS being one of them.
System is running like a dream though. 130-144fps on COD:Warzone maxed out @ 1080p much better then the 65fps i used to get on my Pascal GTX 1060
Edit: Where does one post issues with Website, as i can't get my order...
Only talks about Memory Latency and not Memory Compatibility.
The timings on my DDR4 2133mhz sticks are
1066 MHz 16-15-15-36 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS) / 50-278-171-118-6-4-6-23 (RC-RFC1-RFC2-RFC4-RRDL-RRDS-CCDL-FAW)
1066 MHz 15-15-15-36 (CL-RCD-RP-RAS) / 50-278-171-118-6-4-6-23...
So after some deciding, knowing the issue is not a Hardware fault with the laptop and the fact that the ram i am using is like 5 years old, yet the system runs super stable with just 2 sticks in, i am putting it down to timings of the old ram sticks.
However when i have time i will be running...
Right so i have done the following.
If i place ram in the following order it boots
Slots 2+4 (Works)
Slots 1+3 (Works)
Slots 2+4+1 (Works)
It doesn't matter if i place in the 4GB Stick from the order in with one 8GB stick it will boot fine, i have rotated all sticks and it works fine till...
@FerrariVie
16GB DDR4 Dual Channel (System system doesn't like 4 slots being used to make 32GB) stock https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/61231657
Edit: Both links are now reveled and working.
Ok i have an interesting one here.
So if all 4 Slots in the laptop are populated the system will not boot, it will just stay on a blank screen with just RGB and fans working.
Now i am trying to get the system to boot with (hma41gs6afr8n-tf) Hynix 8GB DDR4 2133 MHz all 4 x 8GB sticks are matched...
Good timing just doing the driver update now. Only just finished MS updates.

Ok will get this done before putting in the ram sticks and testing again then i will repost the scores. Drivers Direct from Nvidia should be fine??
Do you want me to DDU first before new driver install as well?
Hi my laptop has arrived from PCS, Firstly lovely packing by the people at PCS and great job performed by the builder.
I have noticed in the Welcome pack there is some what look to be 3mm 1.5mm/1.0mm thermal pads i take it this is for the M.2.
There is also a screw that has what seems to be two...
Right laptop just arrived and i have ran the first benchmark on Stock config
Recoil 17.3" as in signature (Right now my account is not showing the order proper as this might be updating still)
Auto Fans, Performance Mode Enabled in CCC running on Windows 10 Home (testing version from PCS)...
Quick question, I understand stock with mode set to performance in CCC, is the fans needing to be set to AUTO or MAX aka TURBO mode.

If your doing Video editing, it is still possible to do it on 16GB of ram however if your using loads of effects, transitions etc 32GB of ram will certainly help.
I am putting 32GB into my system and mainly will be gaming which 16GB would be enough however I do Hyper-V some times so 16GB extra...
Basically the image can sometimes show shifted slightly similar to a slight screen tear. Some people may not notice it however some people can.
Or at least that's what I have noticed in the past.
Its nothing bad it can just be off putting to some users.

The only thing i can see that should be changed if you can within budget is the Single Channel 1 x 16GB and place it to 2 x 8GB Sticks for Dual Channel on the first spec.
Then the only deciding factor is screen real estate, bare in mind that gaming 1080p on a 1440p screen can have issues with...
The GPU temperature looks really sweet.
I have 3DMark latest downloaded and ready for when mine hits my door (Fugitively speaking)
Just got the Awaiting dispatch notice!

Sure will do SC and DC benchruns on 3Dmark no problems. Do you want the same on GPU OC (Locked CPU so can't OC that unless I mess with TAU).

My system is currently in building its a Recoil 17 with RTX 3070, i am more then happy to bench it on Stock setup before placing in my 4x 8GB Sticks and M.2 drives (It will be a Single Channel 4GB ram in Stock config).
Unless you want me to do the Bench run on Dual Channel.
