Ha ha Very true... I think he’ll cope with graphics but the one think he HATES is a ‘lag’. out of interest what would make it a 144 system. What part of the computer is this lol. For future reference

Ok. I think I will just stick with the original Ryzen 5 and the 8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2060 SUPER you and someone else recommended. I feel like I’m going down a rabbit hole researching this... seems I will get best out 1440p as originally suggested. Cheers again.

Last thing... it’s about £115 more to go for Ryzen 7 3700X and an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT... Just thinking it seems easier to upgrade graphic card eventually rather than CPU so maybe best to go for and start at 8 cores?

it’s 1440p. I thought that might be best. It’s solely for gaming. Call of Duty, GTR, Battlefront etc
