Hello - so I finally managed to get Currys to refund me for the previous PC that I purchased there based on poor performance. If we have about a £1000 to spend, could you please recommend a spec?
No, I haven't bought it. I just saw that it is available from Currys now, and I got the existing one there - so was thinking I could swap the one I got for this.
I see this is available from Currys - given that they might allow me to exchange, but not refund. Is this the same machine basically?

Which seems to be about the same specs... would you expect the same kind of performance out of that?
Or just wondering - this is available from PC world for a bit more. Would you expect this to be better?

I appreciate all of the advice - thanks!

Hello - thank you for your reply. You were right, it was only set to 60. We updated it, but Fortnite is still just at 66 FPS.

Hello - my son purchased a new PC last week specifically for Fortnite. It was sold as offering up to 142 FPS. But we are only able to get it working at 60TPS. The monitor is 144Hz. We have chosen the closest Fortnite server. The sound cuts out a bit as well while playing.
