This is a forum for PCSpecialist customers, so you’ll have to ask on an open forum such as Tom’s Hardware or Reddit if you want help with a self build.
Well, that's more or less what Ekans2011 has configured, so yes.
No problem with using the SATA SSDs for other storage though - but be aware that SSDs (SATA or NVMe can fail without warning, so a good backup strategy is even more important).
The GPU is a simple plug & play with the rest of the...
Might have to adjust our guide prices further, so extra £150 for the 9800X3D and £100 extra for the GPU means:
1080p = £1750
1440p = £2250
2160p = £2750
I don't know if it's just me, but have PCS GPU prices increased? As I'm seeing a RX7600 at c.£350 which is where the RX7700XT was (and is on other sites)?
For example I'm seeing:
7600 at £300 on PCS, or £220-£250 elsewhere
7600XT at £350 on PCS, or £300-£350 elsewhere
7700XT at £450 on PCS, or...
Just so you are aware, the current gaming king CPU, the 9800X3D, is £150 more than the older 7800X3D (which is out of stock), so our guide prices for 1440p builds are £2100+ excluding any monitor & other peripherals...so £2000 with those included is impossible without seriously cutting corners...
There's no need for three separate posts for the same request (I've asked for the duplicates to be removed).
The likely reason for people not responding to your original ones (which you could have edited) is that they asked for you to read the sticky post and come back with the answers to the...
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but any worthwhile 1080p build will start at about £1600 (1440p £2100+, 4K £2500+) with current gen CPU, GPU, PSU, and decent case, etc.
Any pre-builts you see below this price will have to have had corners cut to squeeze into that price, for example the...
It's not 'overclocked' it just has a working range of 4.5-5.7GHz...but if you've got a particularly good example, it will automatically increase the boost clock higher as long as it stays within the max temp and max power limits that AMD has set.
If you're uncomfortable with that and want to...
Maybe as games storage/install drives as it will depend on the specific game as to whether they'd see any big advantage in start-up or asset loading. They will rarely offer more FPS, but may offer smoother FPS if the game has to delay loading textures/assets...and there are some newer games...
AMD claims that CPU can happily spend it's whole life at 95ºc without any detrimental effects, as that's what it's been tested and designed for.

If it is the standard LianLi case, and the logo isn't acid-etched or laser-printed, then a bit of nail-polish remover and a cotton ball (maybe a plastic scraper) should remove it without marking the glass.
The fastest CPU that could fit in your old platform is the 5800X3D, which would see a nice boost in MSFS, but is not in production anymore and difficult/expensive to get hold of. There is the 5700X3D, which is faster than the 5800X in gaming, but loses out in non-gaming workloads.
With high-FPS...
Can't comment on the Linux side of things, and I just use a Logitech MX Master mouse on all my computers (Mac and Windows).
I use a Corsair K70 RGB MK2 mechanical keyboard...but that seems to have gone to well over the £100 I bought mine at some years back.
I've just seen that there's an...
I don’t bother with any of the extra stuff in GeForce Experience (so don’t have it installed), so not sure it will offer me anything over the Nvidia control panel, but if it lets me install a slimmed down version that simply offers the components I want (I.e. driver updates & the options...
Correct, can’t even see it in the ‘Luna’ (white configurator)…which you might want to use for a white build.
https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/amd-am5-white/
There’s 6 ‘white’ versions to choose from…3 variations white, white & alu, white & bamboo) in each of the non-RGB and RGB models. The RGB model includes 3xRX120 iCUE Link fans & controller kit (which is over £100 if bought elsewhere, or £55 if bought from PCS)...
