PCSPECIALIST New Build - will my GPU fit?

Thanks for the advice, it's much appreciated. When I googled the noise issue, the consensus seemed to be that it's an overheating GPU. I was concerned that the less-than-optimal airflow might be affecting my components. There were a few other minor issues too, but I guess I can live with it...

PCSPECIALIST New Build - will my GPU fit?

Well, I haven't ordered it yet, and I was in two minds about going ahead before posting this thread. I bought my current build in 2020, and I was reasonably happy with it - it just took me a while to figure out that the airflow could have been better. It's not terrible, I just went a bit too...

PCSPECIALIST New Build - will my GPU fit?

The PC is over a year old, and there are no serious issues right now, but I'm a bit concerned about airflow. I don't buy the latest games, but lately I've noticed that when I play a game like 7 Days to Die at it's default graphics settings, the PC makes loud noises like it's about to take off...

PCSPECIALIST New Build - will my GPU fit?

Hi everyone, I'm configuring a new desktop build to replace my current one which has poor airflow. I'm planning on using my current GPU in this one, since I'm buying the same motherboard that I currently have. This means it should fit the new motherboard, but I'm not 100% certain that it...

PCSPECIALIST Installing second HDD on case floor?

Okay, so I need to work on cable management as well. In my last PC the cables were well tied up for me, so I never had to think about it for years. Something else to work on I guess.

PCSPECIALIST Installing second HDD on case floor?

Maybe worth a try, but there's a lot of cables bunched up above the DVD, might be a mess pulling it out.

PCSPECIALIST Installing second HDD on case floor?

Maybe I should have taken the pic after cleaning it, not before. This is what I get for taking pictures of my PC before getting my morning coffee. Another lesson learned!

PCSPECIALIST Installing second HDD on case floor?

Yes, you're right! I checked it before, but it seemed too small. I just double-checked, and it turns out there were cables coming off the motherboard that were in the way. Still might be an awkward fit, but it's worth a try. Also, why the anxiety? I already know I made at least a few...

PCSPECIALIST Installing second HDD on case floor?

Sure. You can see here that there's a grid covering the part behind the front of the case. It doesn't look like it's removable, as far as I can tell. If I can remove it there's a chance that I could fit a HDD behind the RAM, but at the moment I can't see how.

PCSPECIALIST Installing second HDD on case floor?

Sorry this took me a while, I had to figure out how to resize the images for the forum. Here is a pic of the right side of the case with the compartment removed (I hope this is what you meant):

PCSPECIALIST Installing second HDD on case floor?

Thanks for the replies. I took the right side of the case off, and I can see where there might be places to slot a HDD. I guess I'm used to cases that have already have HDD enclosures installed. Having said that, looking inside again, there is still too much going on inside my case for me to...

PCSPECIALIST Installing second HDD on case floor?

Hi, I hope this is the right place for this question. Last year I bought a custom build desktop, and I cheaped out on a lot of things, which I now regret. One of those things was the case, which is a PCS 3601. At the time, all I cared about was getting a working PC to replace my failing old...

I hate to bump my own thread, but does anyone have any comments on this spec, before I put down money on it?

PCSPECIALIST Will this motherboard/CPU combo work? (Budget gaming/image editing build)

Hi, I have never ordered a custom-build PC before so after a doing some research, I had some questions about the desktop I am trying to put together. This is to replace an old system that is falling apart. Here are the Specs: Case PCS 3601 CASE Processor (CPU) AMD Ryzen 3 3200G Quad Core CPU...
