Hi guys.
My new PC arrives Monday, and I'm wondering if the RAM speed will be set to what it is capable of (3200MHz).
Here is the RAM: 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 16GB).
Thank you.
Well, well, well... after an agonisingly long wait my pc has finally been dispatched.
I shall miss this forum, it has provided me with entertainment and reassurance that I would see the light at the end of the tunnel.
However! Please would someone explain what ports/cables (whatever the...
Thanks dude... it has been a long wait haha.
Also, will I need to install any Nvidia related programmes? PCS don't seem to specify what is installed and what isn't.
I've got a big SATA drive and also 1 TB of Samsung M.2.
I'm just going to be playing some games (big fan of DayZ) and other...
Hello.
With my new PC arriving later this week, I was wondering what are the first things I'll need to do when I unpack it? What software/drivers will I need to download?
It's coming with Windows 10 installed, but with the purpose being gaming what will I need to install myself?
Thank you.
I was on about 20 working days and I just knew I wasn't going to get my PC any time soon, so I made the switch. The games which the RTX 3060 can't really handle in 1440p I have no intention of playing so for me, it was a suitable decision.
EDIT: To you noble men and women who are waiting for...
Really? Well aren't I a fool. Thankfully in my case I only did a like-for-like swap, so I haven't lost out on any good stuff.
Do you think I should get in contact with customer service Monday morning and ask if they cancel my changes? Or can I amend my order back?
Lol, thank you. After waiting so long, and now I can actually get my PC I don't want to have got shafted by the fact there aren't any ThermalTake fans xD
Hi guys,
When I received an email yesterday asking whether I wanted to switch to the RTX 3060 as it was in-stock, I did so and my PC entered the build-stage. However, my PSU and additional fan are now out of stock, but I've since changed them to alternatives that are in-stock.
Can I expect...
My PC has gone into the building stage today! As soon as I got the email to switch to the RTX 3060 I just had to do it, I couldn't wait any longer. I hope the fact single ThermalTake fans aren't in-stock atm doesn't slow me down, after waiting so long that'll be annoying.
I presume the fact it...
Thank you :)
Last question (I promise haha). Do you think there's much difference between 3200Mhz and 3600MHz (I've only ever gamed on 3200Mhz) and also is there much benefit in having the additional fan case which I originally added, or could it be done without?
Thank you. In regard to what PCS do, could you explain what is it they do apart from just building the PC. Do they install the necessary drivers, bios updated etc? Or is there certain things I'll have to do when I get it out the box?
If you could show me what savings could be made to accommodate for the 3060 Ti, please let me know!
I'm still happy to game at 1080p though nonetheless
