Last thing, is there any way to go back to factory settings for BIOS without booting? I’ve changed MsHybrid to dGPU only through the BIOS a year ago so that’s why the screen forced to open with RTX rather than Intel’s graphic unit. I took out the CMOS battery but didn’t help at all. Thanks...
So, I tried to connect with HDMI to another screen but there was no signal. And I thought it I could use Steam Link through the WiFi (remote connection) and it worked! But guess what, my RTX 3070 not listed on my computer anymore! It’s gone. There is only Intel’s graphic unit works alone. Nvidia...
Hi Doctor, thanks for the reply. I tested on the screen and there are no lights on the screen, not even a slight bit of light, it’s completely black. I probably dislodged or damages the cable but I cannot find where it is located on the board so I cannot fix it. I better look good or better see...
Hey Guys,
I had been cleaning my laptop as usual as I do like every year once in a while but this time I got blank screen. Laptop works fine, Windows starts, I hear the opening sound and also Face ID works fine, basically laptop works fine apart from the blank screen. What did I do wrong? Did I...
Thank you so much @barlew , it was worth to wait to be honest. Felt like I've got a new laptop since I done the MUX unlocked. I highly recommend to other people who's using 1.07 BIOS. It's definitely worth to do it.
Hi people and PCS family,
I've been waiting for this moment for a long time and it finally happened. After a long wait and tons of emails PCS finally send the new BIOS to me. (It was 1.07, now it's 1.09) And the result is significantly amazing! I finally be able to use dGPU function instead of...
After clean install of Win11, I followed the guidance now my system works flawless. Even in Ultra settings of most AAA games, it works on roughly ~70 degree on full load and I barely can hear the fan noises. As I said, I might have failed before but now I learned somethings from my mistakes...
Hello,
To your first question: It's not easily removable. Because you can't seperate the battery from the body. It's inside the laptop.
The keyboard quality not too bad actually, it doesn't bother me the typing noice. What concerns me is the keys are fading somehow. Especially WASD keys are...
Well, somehow I fixed the problem now it works fine so far. I wanted to share with you guys possible solution for anyone who might have this problem;
Like @ubuysa and @SpyderTracks said (thanks to both gentelmen)
Before I start, I restore to default settings my BIOS and reboot the system...
No I changed nothing. Neither on BIOS nor drivers. Same drivers and same BIOS i’ve been using since i got my laptop. And for the record, i’ve tried three times clean Windows 11 install, got the same BSOD on all of them. Tomorrow I will go back to Windows 10. Thanks guys 🙏🏻
Tried everything, still BSOD.
So the best option is going back to clean install Windows10 and then upgrade to Windows11. There is no else any option comes to my mind. Or, is there any other Control Centers works on my laptop?
Now i'm using Intel® Driver & Support Assistant and it listed Standard NVM Express Controller has to be installed. Hope it fixes my problem.
Edit: Now Intel Driver Support Assitant says I'm up to date. Now I'll try to install Control Center once again.
I installed everything including PCS Drivers , Chipsets, Bluetooth drivers etc. All from download section of my PCS account. The exclamation mark on Device Manager disappeared after I installed Chipset driver. So i thought i can now install the Control Center, tried and result the same. Same BSOD...
So what should i do to configure my Windows? Installed everything. On Win11 Insider version I had no problem aswell as on Windows 10. Never had any problem before.
I think something is wrong here. Could you help me what to install to fix these problems?
PS:Sorry for the Turkish language
I have no idea, I received my laptop with 1.07 version of BIOS, but after 1 month PCS has starting sending the same laptops with the newer BIOS (1.09) So I thought newer...
Hey guys! Today I cleaned all my disk partitions and install Windows 11 (ISO file downloaded from Microsoft Store) to my laptop. I did install all drivers and Windows Update. But whenever after I install Control Center, my laptop gives me a BSOD and reboot the system itself. I had to find out...
I'm not saying upgrading to Windows 11 from Windows 10, Asking for what will happen to my product key for windows 10 if I do clean install Windows 11 from image disc or downloaded/installed ISO file from Microsoft? I mean I'm planning to delete all disc partitions including where Windows 10...
You are right. I should do repaste as soon as possible. Is there any good video tutorial about how to do repaste properly? I know there are tons of videos on youtube but this Tongfang / PCS chasis never tried it before, so maybe if I could find any video from you guys would be grateful. Thanks!
@ubuysa Well I gotta say you made my day, good sir! That Fiat example over my Ferrari theory, couldn't be explained more better 😁
I'm not wanting the latest BIOS only for the activating dGPU option, the new BIOS gives us the opportunity to install the latest Control Center which is updated and...
Hello guys. It's been more than 6 months but still me and like me other people haven't received the latest BIOS version of Tongfang/Ionico.
I've tried to contact that I couldn't count them with PCS many times but neither by email nor phone call center can't say certain thing about that. About...
